Application Process

Step 1 - Apply

Once you have conviction that you want to be a Kauffman Fellow, applying for the program is the easy part. The process consists of completing an online application form, and as a part of that form, giving the contact details of 2 individuals that we may use as a reference throughout the process.

There is a $250 non-refundable application fee.

Please note that we have two deadlines where you are able to submit:

  • November 11, 2022 – Early admissions deadline (your application will not be prioritized, but you will be invited to participate in a Kauffman Fellows event)

  • January 13, 2023 – Final deadline. Applications will not be accepted after this date.

Step 2 - Interview

The written application only goes so far in portraying an accurate picture of who you are. There is much more we’d like to know about you—and you about us.

Candidates with strong applications will then be invited to participate in a series of interviews with our team and select Kauffman Fellows via online video. Interviews typically run 30-60 minutes.
